You have questions, we have answers.
How do I become a vendor with I Heart Rummage?
New Vendors:
· Email us several jpegs of your work along with:
· Your business name
· A brief description of your product and how you make it
· Your email address
If your creations are a good fit with IHR, we'll send you an email confirming that you've been accepted into the IHR family of vendors. Once you receive this email you need to pay your booth fee (see below) by the 15th of the month prior to the show you would like to sell at (i.e. for the February show, you will need to pay no later than January 15th). We will then send you a new vendor info form to fill out and return to us.
Returning Vendors:
If you've shown with IHR before then all you need to do is:
1. Send in your payment by the 15th of the month prior to the show you want to sell at (i.e. pay no later than January 15th if you're applying for the February show). See below for information on how to pre-pay.
2. Tell us your preference of where you would like to set up your display, otherwise you will be placed in the previous space you sold from. Also update us on new address or licensing info and table needs.
How much does it cost?
The basic booth fee is $35. There is an extra $5 charge if you do not have a City of Seattle business license and a $1.50 Paypal fee.
We are encouraging all vendors who sell on a regular basis to apply for a City of Seattle business license. This license is REQUIRED by the city for all vendors; however, you can still sell at IHR without a Seattle business license, under the umbrella license of the show. In order for us to cover the $5 fee that the city charges us for unlicensed participants, we are asking that you pay the additional $5 with your booth fee (for a total of $40).
The City of Seattle business license is a separate license from the Washington state UBI number that you were issued in order to conduct business in Washington. The UBI number is a 9 digit number beginning with a six, and the Seattle license number is a 6 digit number beginning with a five or a seven. Click HERE to find out more and to download an application for a City of Seattle business license.
